HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ Update

This update is available to all registered HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ sewing and embroidery machine owners. You need the Embroidery Machine Communication CD, (4D Organizer, 4D QuickFont) which came with your HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ installed on a personal computer, running Windows XP, Vista. You need to have your DESIGNER DIAMOND™ registered.

If you have not yet installed the Embroidery Machine Communication or registered your DESIGNER DIAMOND™, insert your Embroidery Machine Communication CD, (4D Organizer, 4D QuickFont) and follow the on-screen instructions.

HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ update version 4199-5177:

HUSQVARNA VIKING® listens and you have asked for the HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ to open more embroidery file formats. With this update your HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ sewing and embroidery machine will open the following formats:

  • .PES 
  • .DST 
  • .PCS (new)

Thanks to suggestions, feedback and information from you and your HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ dealer, several additional requests and minor issues are also included in this update.

The update also includes the improvements from software version 3274-5177 with more than 20 improvements and requested added features.

  • The Start Menu icon has been changed to a “DIAMOND”. HUSQVARNA VIKING® listens!
  • Your DESIGNER DIAMOND™ sewing and embroidery machine will now read even more formats. The PEC/PES formats have been added.
  • Also included are other minor corrections including solving the reason for blue screens, as well as improvements of a few stitches, fonts, saving to My Stitches and information on the screen.
  • When the Color List is minimized in Embroidery Stitch Out, when bringing the Color List back up, it now comes up on the current color block you are stitching.
  • Minor changes in translation corrections in the Danish and French languages.
  • It includes a correction of Twin needle stitch width limitation.
