Sewing project classes:

Creative Club projects usually use a combination of embroidery, and sewing to complete the project,  You get to use the machines that are here at the store to complete your project.  Everyone is welcome so come on in and join in on the fun.

Creative Club - Christmas Door Banner

It’s Christmas in July at Needles and Notions. We will be making a beautiful Christmas Door Banner that features metallic thread, crystals, beading and pocket strip for hanging. The finished project will look nice hanging in any home and will make a great gift.

            Fee: Class $10.00; Kit $25.00 + tax

YOUth Can Do It:Jazzy Jeweled Purse

Have you ever looked at a placemat and wondered what else it could be used for? Join us to learn a new embroidery technique and how to turn a placement into a jazzy jeweled purse!

            Fee: Class $10.00; Kit $25.00 + tax

SEWprize Classes are bonus classes that are thrown in from your demand. Not every month will have one and you should always check with us through out the month because you never know when we will SEWprize you by throwing one of these classes in.

Sewprise - Christmas in July: Heirloom Stocking

If you missed the opportunity to make this project last year, here’s your chance! Join Rhonda to learn techniques to create this beautiful heirloom stocking for gift giving or for your Christmas decoration collection.

Fee: $55.00 (includes kit)

Quilting Classes:

Block of the month classes are quilting classes that each month you create a single block, and at the end of the year you have all of the blocks to complete a quilt. Once you bind your quilt there is nothing left to do but enjoy your creation.

Block of the Month –Stitchers Garden – This is the ongoing block of the month class and is a great opportunity to learn about your machines presser feet. We do have openings for new students in the following sessions: Monday at 1:00 and Wednesday 6:00 sessions. If you are a new student we will pick up sessions missed after the 12th session.

          Fee: $30.00 plus tax

Beginning Quilting – If you’ve had a desire to quilt, and have two Saturdays in April free, this is the perfect class for you to learn.  Your completed wall hanging will have four basic blocks: rail fence, four patch, flying geese and log cabin. You will also learn sashing, borders, free motion, stitch in the ditch and binding.

          Fee: $90.00 plus tax

Serger Classes:

Serger Basics: New serger users will learn basic serger skills. Class will serve as the new owners for those individuals whom have purchased a serger from Needles and Notions.

Computer Classes:

Intro to EQ7:Come join us as we learn EQ basics and explore the new features of EQ7.

Fee: $20.00 (Class free for individuals that purchased software at Needles and Notions)

4D Basics: We will be covering the Sketch module that is included with the 4D Suite or 4D Professional. You will learn how to make additions to designs and how to create designs from your own artistic drawing.

July 1^st at 2:00 and 6:00 PM

Computer Club: Join Justin as he assists you in exploring the many aspects of the modules of the 4D Extra, Suite and Professional software.
